Joerg Schmidt is a highly experienced insurance industry expert who worked in different senior management functions for large insurers in Switzerland, UK, Germany and Scandinavia.
In 1992 Joerg established his own company specialized in dealing with multinational companies. His focus was servicing companies from the life science industry, and he subsequently established his firm as one of the most experienced independent service providers in that filed. Whereas most competitors put their main focus on placing of insurance policies, Joerg Schmidt distinguished his company with outstanding claims handling services and support in all global markets. With its EU subsidiary in Austria, SVT AG is admitted in all countries of the EU region.
Joerg Schmidt is a long-standing member of the board of an international network of independent insurance brokers (WING). He was also an advocate in building an international network of independent insurance brokers to support clients in foreign territories with local services.
