Christoph Rentsch is an accomplished Corporate Finance Professional with 25+ years of experience in the life science field.
Starting his career in investment banking, he gained extensive IPO and corporate finance knowledge. Facscinated by the broader context of transactions on the corporate side, he joined Lonza and held various senior management positions, lastly as CFO of Alusuisse Lonza’s North American entity. Back in Switzerland he joined F. Hoffmann-La Roche as Head of Group Funding and Capital Markets, responsible for all finance transactions of the Roche group. After serving more than 10 years, he co-founded a life science investment management firm and held CFO positions at two listed biotech companies. Since 2020 he acts as strategic advisor to various companies.
Christoph holds a master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences of Basel and is a graduate of the Oxford University Capital Markets Training Programme.
